Fatassalon and Ice Cream Alley

Brothers verses brothers. For the past three years, these Phillips boys have held an annual Fatassalon. Steven and Russell, Brent's sons, compete against their favorite uncles, Steve and Brian. Events aren't the same every year but are agreed upon before the event begins. Swimming, tennis, short distance running, bocci, pushups, rifle sharp shooting, and Rook (a card game) have been some of the events. And the teams even have shirts made up! This event usually takes place during "owners" week at the Lodge and it makes for some great entertainment. This past summer was Steven's last Fatassalon for a couple years as he's serving a full time mission in the Dominican Republic. Brian just reported that they have won twice as many times as their nephews. It's a good battle!

Ice Cream Alley! I love this picture of cousin Aaron with Chael, Dash, Brock and Callie. This place is awesome and a must have when in McCall during the summer. They have a ton of different flavors to choose from and serve a heap of ice cream!
