Snorkeling Outing to Manta Point

In back L to R: Steven, Annie, Jade, Alicia, Colby, Sarah, Brian and Callie.
In front row: Maren, Chael, Dash, Luke and Brock.

The locals collect and dry out this seaweed.

All of us are happy to board and excited for our snorkeling adventure.

This was a few minutes into the ride. The "three hour tour" indeed! It turned out to be extremely choppy and many became extremely sea sick on this little adventure!

We anchored at Manta Point where Manta Ray are typically seen. Steven saw one! It was getting seriously bad for those of us in the boat who were sea sick! We had quite a few casualties. I was the only one in the boat who didn't feel very nauseous. There were five people who threw up! But we survived. It wasn't the best conditions for snorkeling and we had the boat driver take us to Crystal Cove on the way back. Fun snorkeling there! Good way to recover from being sea sick too. I thought it was a nice little snorkeling spot.
