Craft Day! Headbands and Hair Things

We got our craft on last Thursday, Feb. 27th. A few weeks before we made stuffed felt hearts for Dawn's Valentine's Day display. Others were happy to join in the fun and just get together. The kids made Gingerbread men out of felt. I showed how to make some cute hair things out of felt and more friends wanted to come and make hair things. Of course! Come on over! I bought the DIY head bands and clips off of taobao.com. People brought a few finger foods and my ayi made a lovely spread of Chinese dishes and it was really fun! We made some great hair things!

Jill Doyle (Taiwan) with Sebastian, Miranda Kwan (U.S.A.) with Carsten Goh (Singapore) and Joanne Taiwan.

My dining table.

Angela (from Korea), Natalie Manning (from the UK), Natalie Foxwell (from Australia) and Lu (from China) with their lovely creations!

Chael modeling a couple.

He's my only buddy at home now! He was able to play with Caleb and Sebastian while we were busy crafting.

Some made of felt and some out of fabric. Four circles folded in half and then folded in half a gain. Glue onto a felt circle. Can layer another set of four. Glue sparkle or button in the middle and hair clip on the back!

We glued everything with a hot glue gun. To wrap ribbon around head band, we glued the ribbon on one end and then wrapped tightly and glued to finish off the other end. Trim with scissors. The hair things on clips can but clipped on to the head band so you can switch it up.

Jill and Sebastian, Caleb and Dawn, Kristy, Joann, Natalie F., Miranda, Teresa and Chael, Angela, Lu and Natalie M.

Thanks Ladies for a fabulous time! I'm looking forward to many more days like this one in the future!
