Brian and I stayed at the Xanadu in Shao Xing for our anniversary, December 15th. We won a free night's stay there in a raffle last Spring and decided to use it before it expired! It's on Swan Lake near the Xiang Hu Lake. On my explorative run in the morning that started in the dark I was able to see some things as light appeared that made me run all the way back to our hotel room, grab Brian's camera and run back to where I was to take some pictures. These are taken with Brian's Nikon 1 that I got him and we both really love this camera. (It's especially great for traveling! and I'm really impressed with it.) The foggy, hazy lighting and the symmetry of this cool bridge is what inspired me initially.
