Chinese New Year! 2016

We loved our Shanghai trip after Christmas so much that we decided to do it again during CNY! And the Wood family joined us!

Hangzhou Train Station. Heading to Shanghai!

Just in case you were slow to make your new year's resolutions in January, you have another chance in China. Just follow the lunar calendar. CNY was February 8th this year. Factories shut down. Small shops close up. Thousands migrate to their home town to be with their families for the biggest holiday of the year. The Spring Festival and New Year. Fire crackers and fire works start well before midnight and don't let up until 2am. But they are not finished. The newest day is greeted with more noise. It sounds like a war zone in some areas. And the sky line of fire works going off at every corner is really impressive.

Down Town Shanghai near People Square.

Ice cream after dinner! (Carl's Jr. again for dinner? yep!)

Getting around via the subway.

Brian and Anthony took the kids to watch Kung Fu Panda III!

Trampoline Land! It's actually called Jump 360. It's so impressive. And fun for the whole family. We met up with friends here after Christmas and were happy to do it again with the Woods.

King of the Mountain? Brian and I vs. the kids.
